STAND UP. SPEAK OUT. SHOW UP.
RhRR is people caring for each other and standing up for democracy’s future. Every person present, every sign raised, and every conversation sparked on a street corner is part of something bigger and deeply hopeful.

An in-progress voting guide for all of Maricopa County, I hope.
For now, this is the brain-child of me, Evo Terra. I'm soliciting input from other RhRR regulars around The Valley to make this bigger and more complete. If that's you and you have any input on your local/district races, you know how to reach me.
Why reinvent the wheel, right? These recommendations come from CEBV—Civic Engagement Beyond Voting. And they're spot on, and you can read their fine analysis and rational on each proposition here.
LInks below go to Ballotpedia, the digital encyclopedia of American politics, and the nation’s premier resource for unbiased information on elections, politics, and policy. We provide our readers curated content on all levels of U.S. politics that is relevant, reliable, and available for all.
Below is each proposition. You'll see either a ❌ or ✅ to the left of the Proposition number and title as it will appear on your ballot. A (very) brief explanation from Evo follows. Groovy? Groovy.
We need funds to repair our roads. Not a Constitutional amendment (wtf?) based on conspiratorial nonsense.
Another attempt to roll back civil rights and enshrine white supremacy into the State Constitution.
This will eliminate mail-in voting, because MAGAts believe the lies fed to them. AZ elections are incredibly safe and secure.
It's not taxes making groceries more expensive; it's corporate greed. This is just more of MAGA's pathological war on letting municipalities raise revenues.
FFS. More security theater. Didn't we learn from 25 years ago? Guess not. Vote no, and let Federal law enforcement do their job.
FFS. MAGA is fascinated by children's genitals, and it's creepy and disgusting. Perverts.
Hey, I hate photo radar as much as anyone. I abhor ALPR (automatic license plate reader) cameras like Flock and Axon for their civil rights violations. But this bill is a knee-jerk reaction. I mean, Wendy Rogers and Mark FInchem (R, MAGA) are the only ones who want it.
Once again, legislators with zero understanding of what a good education means are interfering with public education. All in a ploy to get more of the voucher scam we need to ditch. MAGA lawmakers screwed public education. This perpetuates it.
This is everyone's least-favorite portion of the ballot, and is why it spans multiple pages some times. The data in the county-provided guides are utter dreck, so I'm once again relying on the recommendations from CEBV—Civic Engagement Beyond Voting. Download the .pdf if you want more info on each judge.
Here's every judge that you get to vote to either retain or not retain. ❌ is not retain, ✅ to retain. Those are your two options. Let's kick some of these jackasses to the curb, shall we?

I'm happy that everyone (?) I selected in my voting guide to the Primary was voted in, so some of these recommendations are recycled. Though may nave been updated for snarky comments about their opponents.
Here's every judge that you get to vote to either retain or not retain. ❌ is not retain, ✅ to retain. Those are your two options. Let's kick some of these jackasses to the curb, shall we?
✅ Yassamin Ansari
Yassamin is the kind of fighter we need, simply because she cares about people. All of them. Send her back to D.C. to fight for you, too.V
✅ Katie Hobbs
Katie doesn't tick every box for me, but fuck purity tests. She's stopped the MAGA domination of the state legislature quite effectively. Let's keep her. Andy Biggs is the epitome of MAGAt, and Hourihan and Lombardo are spoiler candidates.
✅ John Giles
Hold your nose and vote for John Giles. He's Team Hobbs, though I'm more than a little concerned that he's center right.
✅ Adrian Fontes
This man deserves a medal for dealing with election deniers and conspiracy theorists.
✅ Kris Mayes
It's unlikely I'll ever love anyone running for the AG spot (ACAB), but I'd rather have Kris in office than Warren Peterson, the authoritarian-loving MAGA candidate. So vote for her.
✅ Nick Mansour
I don't know Nick, but his campaign priorities are progressive enough for me. Invest in education, stop the rich from getting richer at taxpayer expenses... those sorts of things. Elijah Norton, the Republican, got rich in finance and insurance. So he sucks.
✅ Teresa Leyba Ruiz
She's against the voucher program that funnels more money to rich asshats, and she's not Kimberly Yee, whose views on education are toxic as they are ineffective.
✅ Brian Matlock
Yeah, I'd like mining shut down as much as you, but that's not what this job is about. Brian's priorities are where they need to be, and he's not a MAGA lapdog like Presmyk promises to be.
✅ Jonathan Hill
The thought of an actual scientist (Ph. D. in Geological Sciences, Masters in Aerospace Engineering) in this position is enough to make me salivate. I like his positions on increasing renewables and protecting our dwindling water supply.
✅ Clara Pratte
Clara already is investing in clean energy with her own company, Navajo Power. Her efforts to lower energy consumer costs seem focused on cleaner and cheaper sources, not just slashing rates on out-dated generation methods.
✅ Sarah Liguori
Sarah and I met in early 2025 at a rally at the state capitol. She's a big supporter of what we're doing at the #RhRRs around the Phoenix metro.
✅ Aaron Márquez. I met Aaron briefly when he stopped by the RhRR on the Melrose curve, likely encouraged to visit by Sarah. He's focused on protecting democracy and opposes MAGA-led initiatives to disenfranchise/discourage voting.
✅ Sebastian "Seb" Maximiliano Matta
We need more young people in public office. At 19, he fits that bill. And he wants to make the Superior Court ”respect the integrity and sanctity of the judicial system."
✅ Michael Mazzocco
The only candidate running for city council that takes a housing-first approach to help the homelessness situation.
✅ Maria Ligocki-Russel
What's with candidates not having campaign websites? I couldn't find our much about Maria, but she's running unopposed, so... why not?
All these candidates seem fine, honestly. More research required
Neither candidate has websites
✅ Deborah Ann Begay
Deborah is prioritizes people over business interests, cops, and prosecutors. She's for reducing stupid fines, stopping warrantless-warrants, and protecting our more vulnerable community members.
